I've been in awe of some paper cut artists I've stumbled across recently, such as Peter Callesen and Helen Musselwhite. I've made paper cut pieces and used the patterns on metal for years but there is something so magical about transforming a plain piece of paper into something beautiful just by cutting or folding.
Here is my recent paper cut effort made into a brooch. I used paper and silver for the pin.

Day 58
I'm sure I started this blog saying I didn't often make rings, well, I've certainly changed my ways, I love making rings....and wearing them. This one for day 58 is made from old book pages, coloured tissue paper and silver wire.

Day 54
A ring made of paper, white on the outside and coloured pink on the inside to highlight the pattern.
This is actually a model for a design in silver, but it works quite well in paper, as long as you don't wear it to do the washing up.

Day 37
Something completely different for today's wearable piece, a ring made from book pages and a paper clip. Need something to read on the bus? no problem, you're wearing your book ring.
(No nice books were harmed in the making of this ring)

Day 3
Day 3 of my spontaneous 3D sketchbook, and today's wearable item is a bird wing necklace. The bird wing is made of paper, attached to a long silver chain, with the words 'Second Post' from a second hand book cover.
